Jenny joined the Desire Tattoo team in 2016, after working for nearly a decade at Vancouver’s Liquid Amber Tattoo.
A lifelong passion for drawing and art lead her to UBC and a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts, with the intention of a career in art education.
However, Jenny quickly became busy using her varied art skills to design tattoos for friends and acquaintances, and the idea of a career in custom designing permanent, wearable art for people became so exciting that she sought out an apprenticeship.
When she is not working, Jenny’s life is occupied with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and corn snake. She loves dragging her family on long, arduous forest walks with the dogs. Jenny’s longtime love of old-timey radio shows has evolved into a love of true-crime podcasts, with the dream of one day solving a mystery. Even if she has to commit the crime herself… 😉
Jenny loves doing black and grey realism and illustrative tattoos, particularly flowers and animals. However she welcomes all inquiries as to style and subject matter.
